Former NY Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress, who shot himself in the leg last year has accepted a plea bargain with a two year prison sentence. Burress plead guilty today to one count of attempted criminal possession of a weapon. His sentencing will be held next month, September 22. He is expected to begin serving out his sentence immediately after.

Former NY Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress, who shot himself in the leg last year has accepted a plea bargain with a two year prison sentence.
